Ok, I went swimming today. It was fun. Most of the time I just stood in
the sun talking with my people and slaves. We spent 45 minutes
discussing stupid people at school. We only got through three. Out of
the dumb millions. Lol, I'm kidding. Sort of. My hair is all
clorhinated. (I can't spell that word and I'm too lazy to look it up).
I feel sleepy...
I am officially done with school now. (untill
September) I had my Earth Science regents, and my social studies final.
S.s. was easy, but earth science was hard and annoying. I got done at
about 1:15. The 6th graders were at the pool when we got there. After
they left, we had the whole pool to ourselves. Except it was freezing.
Tomarrow I have an eye doctor appointment thing. Wah. I want to get
tinted contacts, I never wear my glasses, they dont help and they annoy
me, not to mention they make me look geeky.

I have a Flickr account now.

Oooooo, I hate feeling like this. First of all, it's really hot here, and very humid, so that puts me in a bad mood. Then I didn't get to sleep very good last night, and that also puts me in a bad mood. And I lost my digital camera, and that is annoying. I'm sure I'll find it, but it's just a matter of when. I'm also am teaching myself japanese, and while it's going good, it is also stressfull. I hate particles. How on earth am I supposed to remember ba, no, o, i, and all the other ones I can't remember, along with "i" verb forms and tenative past. grrrrrr........ Very stressfull indeed. I'm pretty good with learning languages (unlike earth science *pulls hair out*), but I get annoyed easily. Once I get past this though, it will be much better. I'm trying to get the basics down before September (くがつ　^.^) because then I will be taking french again, and wont have a ton of time to spend on japanese. And eventually, I'll take japanese classes too, I know I can't become fluent by myself, even with the cd's and books and all. I'm not quite sure why I picked japanese to learn (or why I decided to learn another language while learning french...). I can't stand people who are obsessed with Japan, especially the ones who are obsessed with manga and animae (I can't even spell it). I certainly don't want to live in Japan - too crowded. But I do love Japanese culture. I'm reading "Tale of Genji" right now, and it has to be one of the most boring, longest books in the universe. His "true" loves dies, and he's so distressed, he needs to get another lover, so while he's seducing this one girl, he's having an affair with one of the servants, and fantasing with someone else, all while trying to make a good impression for yet another woman. I mean, get a life. But I'm determined to finish it, even if it kills me. (which it probably will....). Je veux aller a Paris demaine.... lol, yeah right. J'ai fait du shopping ce matin avec ma mere et ma soeur... Il fait chaud, et j'ai mal a la tete. I'm too tired and annoyed at the world to think, so I hope I wrote that right.
Good bye cruel world, I'm going to go drown my sorrows in a cup of green tea. 緑茶

so piss-ed if I didn't find it before I go to Salem.
My dad wanted an air conditioner for his
birthday, so when we went to the store to buy it, he started freaking
out. (the man's insane). So he ended up not getting
it, because he was worried that he might not be able to set it up.
*rolls eyes* What a weirdo. So yesterday he comes home with one. I knew
he was going to do that, he always does. Hes such a pessimist.
Him and one of my mom's friends set it up, so now we have air

I'm back! I see my palace was well tended while I was gone (although the fireplace still could use some work snowfairy). Salem has to be the coolest place in the US! (But I though traffic was bad in NYC...O.o) I only took 54 pictures, but still! When we first got there, we toured the House of Seven Gables and Nathaniel Hawthorns house, and then the next day we took a trolley all over Salem. I also went shopping and walked around in the Old Burying Point. Next to that graveyard, there was a little courtyard, and it was surrounded by a stone wall, and out of them were stone benches with the names of the people who were hanged as witches and the date. (It also had Corey who was pressed to death). And on the way in there, there was a stone walkway that had the words "I am innocent of witch" and stuff like that. I didn't really get a good picture, it was too wide. There were crowns made out of rowan and herbs on each bench, someone must have put them there in memory which I thought was nice. After Salem, we went to Plymouth. It was nice, but Salem was much better. It was rainy and a little cold, but I still went walking on the beach. It was nice, because the water was calm, and there was no one else there. I got some cool colored rocks. And then on the way home, we stopped at some mall in Albany, which was kinda neat. It had the exact same design as the mall in Maryville (sp?) Indianna. odd...

Here are my two favorite pictures!

You can see all of my photos of Salem here:
http://flickr.com/photos/pitchers_by_the_king/sets/559677/

Actually, its kinda right in between....) because were going to Binghamton, to the mall and Barnes and Noble, and I think somewhere else... My memory must be fading in my old age. Can't spell either. *shrugs*

*sighs* I'm back. I had a wonderfull time. So many halarious moments.... Ah, the memories. To name a few - the hillbillies in Old Country, the snake, Haily and mary had a little lamb, grandma's evil ducks (aflack.....), "you don't belong here, were taking you back" (:D), and then "*whispering* were going to leave you in the bathroom at McDonalds" =))... "Samuelo", ah and 24-fest, "put-em-up", killing off sims and taking their money, the scary chipmunk on the truck, the ice cream woman, and all the weirdo's at Family Express...
I wish I could have stayed out there for another week because Nate, my aunts "fiancé-to-be" was visiting, and so was my uncle david and my aunt myong-hui. Bah! Hopefully I'll go back out with my parents and sibling for thanksgiving this year.

I start school Sept. 7. After I got picked up at the train station in Utica yesterday we went to the mall and I brought some clothes. I wanted to buy green or red hair dye, but they only had the spray on kind in spencers, and I didn't see it anywhere else. I was going to buy some in Spencers in Westfield mall in Merriville IN, but they just had run out. Grrr... Just my luck.

In other news I am pissed because I brought The Sims Deluxe versian and Makin Magic expansion pack, and it SUCKS! I must have Sims2! Thats the one I've got an addiction to now! (heck with neopets! talk about control...) The graphics on the Sims are awfull, and the whole game is corny and fake! I've played Sims2 and it is the BOMB! (at least untill Sims3:D)

With the approach of fall, it is time for my annual pumpkin obsession. I will bake pumpkin bread, and perhaps pumpkin cookies and pie. I will light pumpkin scented candles and have pumpkins all over my parents house, and will annoy them to death by constantly talking about, cooking with, talking to and obsessing over pumpkins. This will last through September, and then during October I will probably be in my Halloween/Samhain obsession, which includes more pumpkins, black candles, even more black clothing, and depression because of the cold weather. *sighs* I hate winter and late fall. Although this fall I should be going back to Indianna for Thanksgiving, and I will be turning 16... So it might not be all bad.

(3) Suffering can be ended by overcoming ignorance and attachment. (4) The path to the suppression of suffering is the Noble Eightfold Path, which consists of right views, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right-mindedness, and right contemplation.

I enjoyed school today. The small part I was awake for. My body refused to go to sleep, and than in the morning I found out that I had been watching tv, with the computer and all the lights on in my sleep, which of course, always helps. I just woke up from an hour nap, and I'm going to try to go to sleep at 11.
Teehee. This part was always fun. Here is a list of my teachers, summary, and a strangness level from 1 - 10, 10 being the strangest. (There are a LOT of strange teachers at my school. But most of them are pretty cool.)

Ms. Kutz - (math) 3
She's new.... I don't know much about her yet. She seemed pretty normal, but after a whole year with Brandon Scutt in her first period class, we might make her do some funny things:D Pulling hair out and standing on a desk brandishing a ruler usually isn't a sign that they're in a good mood.

Ms. Capek - (french) 3
I had her last year, and she's cool. Not nearly as strange as the others though... She's been to Morocco, and that's always cool.

Mr. Sassano - (health) 6
I'm not sure about this guy. He alright, but as far as the strangness goes... His sinister powers made me almost fall asleep in his class...

Mr. Liss - (art) 6
I had him from K - 5th grade, and then he got switched to the High School, so I have him now in drawing. He is intresting, slightly eccentric, and is one of those "arty" people I usually despise. He is a really good art teacher though, and everybody loves him.

Mr. Hornung - (Social Studies) 9.5
This is one warped individual. But I never said that's a bad thing, did I? He reminds me of Jim Carrey, just older, and shorter. He also has the whole "mtv situatuation" figured out. The school blocked MTV from the tv channels, but they didn't block MTV2. *rolls eyes* And only Mr. Hornung (and mabey Hansen) would even care to find that out.

Ms. Brunelle - (bio) 7
Hmm.... She has a lot of rodents.... And plants. I don't really know about her yet...

I wish I could write more, but I am too tired to even think about it.... Blah!

On the matter of homosexuality..

There has been a lot of talk, on mindsay, and on the internets lately about homosexuality. Not so much fundementalist homophobes condeming homosexuals to hell, but homosexuals themselves, addamantly defending their sexual preference. To be honest, I couldn't really care less whether someone was gay or straight. But when I am presented with all these opinions, it makes me think, and I want to present my opinion as well.

*ahem*

One of the common things I have noticed in articles written by people proclaiming their gayness is that they want respect, because being gay is "normal" and "natural". Mind you, whether homosexuality is normal or not has little to do whether it is morally wrong or right. There are plenty of things that come natural to human beings that aren't practiced by the general population, because they are wrong, and there are also countless things that humans do do that aren't natural at all.

Because I don't want to be educated on science, and gender roles, sexuality, etc. by someone who has formulated their own opinions by the popular media, I turn to people who have studied these things. Scientists from all backgrounds, liberal, conservative, christian fundamentalist, neo-pagan, and even of varying sexual practices have contributed to the research. One of my favorite researchers in this field is Professor Steven Goldberg. Goldberg is the Chairman of the sociology department at City College of NY. He acknowledges that in order to shed light on the real facts of human sociology, you have to look at the facts without bias, without standing on some ideological ground on which you base your opinions. Because, of course, the Christian scientists are going to have evidence against homosexiality, and Pro-Gay scientists are going to have evidence supporting it. :) Thats just the way it is.
A shame that such an advanced society has to mix religion and politics in science.

Goldberg has some interesting things to say about homosexuality..

"Goldberg says that gays have an ideological commitment to proving the normality of homosexuality, but they have not yet been able to make a convincing argument for it.

We cannot grant gays affirmation of the normality of their behavior unless they can give us a cause for homosexuality that can be considered normal, he says. Most gays refuse to consider the common environmental factors that have been found in the backgrounds of homosexuals; they simply insist that causation is "irrelevant." They expect, he says, that we should suspend criteria for normality which psychologists apply in all other cases.

Many gay spokesmen actually tend to deny the logic of deeming any behavior abnormal. Yet this approach does them little good. What they really want to argue, Goldberg says, is that homosexuality is normal, while other behaviors like necrophilia and coprophilia are not. To make the argument that homosexuality is normal because "all variant behaviors are 'normal,'" gays would then be forced to deliver an argument explaining why necrophilia and coprophilia should be viewed as perversions, while homosexuality was healthy."

Again, do not get me wrong. I have nothing against homosexuals. I would never try to stop someone from loving their same sex partner, I would never commit or condone hate crimes, and I would never treat someone differently because of their sexuality. But I will tell people my opinions, especially when everyone else gets to share. It is Samaels turn. : ]

I have heard a lot of homosexuals, and "pro gays" on the rampage claim that people are born gay. :) That my dearies, is utter foolishness. Not only has it been dismissed by everyone in the scientific field, it's not logical. There is no evidence supporting the "gay gene" theory either. Simon LeVay himself has said this: "It is important to stress what I didn't find. I did not prove that homosexuality was genetic, or find a cause for being gay. I didn't show that gay men were born that way, the most common mistake people make in interpreting my work.". So homosexuality is not genetic. No one is inheriantly gay. If they were, anyone who was gay would not be able to change. I personally know three people who once identified themselves and practiced bi-homosexuality, and since have found opposite sex lovers. Does this mean that all people can do this? I don't know. But it can and does happen. An arguement against people "changing sexuality" is that they wern't really gay, they were straight all along. Really? Who can say? No one.

I hate making long posts, so I will cut this one here. :) Enjoysed!

I found an interesting book on amazon today.. (To be seen here) Irish, Celtic witchcraft. I gave up witchcraft long ago, realizing that neopaganism as a whole is a silly, fluffy, idealogical world, where fantasy becomes history. Many of the neopagans I know are very nice people, but are a bit out of it. Gardner did nothing but feed people a lie. Anyway.. The title of this book cought my attention, so I read some of the reviews. And then I read some sample pages. Very interesting. Very interesting indeed..

In the long months after the September 11, families recieved compensation from he September 11th Victims Compensation Fund. Many of these people had lawyers representing them. Contingency fees by attorneys representing families were disfavored. Knowing this one lawyer was asked by one woman whose husband was killed in the terrorist attacks to represent her.. Blah, blah blah. To make a long story short, the lawyer requested two million dollars in contingency fees, and took her to court before a judge to prove it. Pfft. And the good guys, the law firm Simmons, Jannace & Stagg was asked to come and save the day. As a child her close family knew her as "Lilibet". Her grandmother Queen Mary doted on her and George V found her very entertaining. At 10 years old, the young Princess was introduced to a preacher at Glamis Castle. As he left, he promised to send her a book. Elizabeth replied, "Not about God. I already know all about Him".

As a granddaughter of the British sovereign in the male line, she held the title of a British princess with the style Her Royal Highness. Although her birth generated public interest, there was no reason at the time to believe that she would ever become queen, as it was widely assumed that her uncle, the Prince of Wales, would marry and have children in due course.

However, due to his wife Wallis Simpson's reproductive issues, Edward was destined not to have any legitimate heirs. Since Elizabeth's parents had no sons, who would have had precedence over her regardless of when they were born, she would eventually have become queen whether Edward had abdicated or not, assuming she outlived her father.

Each post takes minutes, and done correctly, earns you five dollars, deposited to your paypal account at the end of each week. This money can then be used in any online store that accepts paypal, transfered to a bank account, sent to a friend, etc. How does it work? When you get an offer on Blogitive.com, you have the option to accept or reject it. If you choose to accept, you are give a time frame (2 - 3 days) to complete the offer. You are given a website, and a word or sentence that must be linked to that website, and a topic to write about. In at least 50 words, simply describe the article, talk about your grandmothers new garden club, or your hangover last Monday night. Sounds good!

He believes himself to be a talented musician (playing keyboards in his bedroom), but in fact his music is awful and he is the only one who doesn't realise it. At the start of the show Jeremy has just split from "Big Suze", a girl with whom it seems he had a long-term relationship. Though essentially a loser, Jeremy remains convinced that he is almost universally popular, and appears constitutionally incapable of self-doubt despite all the evidence. When pressured, he occasionally makes half-hearted attempts to find a job, but he is simply too lazy and in any case convinced that he is above work. It is unclear how he would support himself without Mark's continual charity (Jeremy doesn't even pay any rent). He is obsessed with attractive next-door neighbour Toni, and manages to convince himself that she is his "fuck buddy". He views her as his safety net for those moments when he inexplicably fails to score with anybody else, but in fact on the few occasions she does let him have his way, she is clearly just using him to make her husband jealous.

ZTMax is supposedly releasing a new product. When? I don't really know. I do not plan on reading the web release that far. So here is the deal. ZTMax's new line of gadgets, called a Multifunctional Mini Digital Speaker. What exactly does this do? I am assuming you can bring it with you (mini, being portable), and you can blare your mp3 player so that strangers on the city trans-it look at you weirdly. If you are lucky, you will get in a fight with a bodybuilder, and someone will get it on camera, and I will be able to be entertained on youtube. According to the little part of the web release I read, this product is on the cutting edge of the market, or something like that. Apparently, this company thing thinks that every single product they produce on their production lines is worth consumers attention, which is, of course, why they pay me to write these articles. But I am not complaining! No siree-bob! I am sure that this ZTMax corp has a fine product, but to really find out the truth, I suggest visiting their website, because quite frankly, we are out of time today. See you soon! -bises-

Prior to the Christian era, the vast lands of South Russia were home to disunited tribes, such as Proto-Indo-Europeans and Scythians. Between the third and sixth centuries AD, the steppes were overwhelmed by successive waves of nomadic invasions, led by warlike tribes which would often move on to Europe, as was the case with Huns and Turkish Avars. In the mid-9th century, a group of Scandinavians, the Varangians, assumed the role of a ruling elite at the Slavic capital of Novgorod. Although they were quickly assimilated by the predominantly Slavic population, the Varangian dynasty lasted several centuries, during which they affiliated with the Byzantine, or Orthodox church and moved the capital to Kiev in A.D. 882.

In this era the term "Rhos", or "Rus", first came to be applied to the Varangians and later also to the Slavs who peopled the region.

Fairfield resorts are crappy vacation spots in the deep south, accessible by any loser who wants to listen to some salespersons shit about timeshares. And what are timeshares? I don’t know. But according to the web release, we see that their company is too poor to actually get customers, and also too poor to get real advertisements, so they went to blogitive! They are going to see my link on their blog. I guess that will work. So, here is some of the vocabulary that these people want to see. Timeshares, vacations, vacationers, Arkansas, wealthy, gold, and maybe even some travel and airline tickets. Can you really afford this? I don’t know. I also know that I do not care. So you can continue with your yoga classes, because this post is ALMOST done. I just need one hundred words words words words. I really do do not not want want to to count count all all these these words words, so so I I am am just just guessing guessing at at how how many many I I have have. Ok! Ok! This seems seems about about right right. I know I am going to go out and buy lots of timeshares right now.

Their reason for blocking it is "Chat/IM". That makes a lot of sense. :) I was looking at a french community. Very educational. But fine, if they dont want me to be able to compete with students from other countries, that is fine with me. Protest! Oh! Did I also tell you that the school board is not letting french students go on an educational field trip to Quebec? What the hell! So the band can go on overnight fieldtrips all over the place, as can the sports teams and FFA, FBLA, etc, but we can't? O_O You can be sure that I have worked my magic. I have contacts lined up all across the boarders. o_o But I never said that!!
